Keep It Up! (KIU!), ISGMH’s online HIV & STI prevention intervention for young men who have sex with men (YMSM), has just finished filming new and refreshed content for its latest version, set to be released in Fall 2019.
KIU! was recently selected by the Centers for Disease Control as a “best-evidence” HIV risk reduction intervention. Designed with guidance from ethnically diverse YMSM, KIU! uses multimedia and interactive modules to teach useful and practical HIV & STI risk-reduction skills. Cedric Leiba Jr, an award-winning actor in the newest KIU! iteration, shared that he is “grateful to be part of this very important project to help LGBTQ youth and young adults.”
As it scales up to 44 counties nationwide, KIU! recently announced a request for proposals for community-based organizations to integrate the intervention into their existing HIV testing and prevention services. Check out KIU!’s homepage for more information about the intervention, including links to the RFP and the RFP FAQs. The deadline to apply is May 13, 2019.
