Dr. Gregory Phillips II, director of ISGMH’s Evaluation, Data Integration, and Technical Assistance (EDIT) research program, has been officially announced as an Affiliate Researcher to the Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) at the University of Illinois, College of Education.
Through his work as head of the Evaluation Center, Dr. Phillips has established himself as a leader in the inclusion of LGBTQ+ voices and a proponent of LGBTQ+ cultural competency in the field of Evaluation. As a CREA Affiliate Researcher, Dr. Phillips will continue to advocate for and lead the improvement of Evaluation methods in diverse communities, and promote best practices in LGBTQ+ inclusion to Evaluators nationwide.
This is the latest in a string of exciting recognitions Dr. Phillips has received as a result of his innovative and important contributions to the field of Evaluation. In addition to his other responsibilities, he currently serves as Program Chair of the American Evaluation Association’s Social Network Analysis Topical Interest Group, and as an Associate Editor of the American Journal of Evaluation.
