Drs. Michelle Birkett and Gregory Phillips II Awarded First Northwestern R01 under NIDA’s “Big Data to Knowledge” Initiative

A new five-year 3 million dollar grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse has been awarded to Drs. Michelle Birkett and Gregory Phillips II of Northwestern University. Drs. Birkett and Phillips are both faculty in the Department of Medical Social Sciences and direct research programs within the new Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing. Liz McConnell, M.A., Receives F31 Grant for Research on HIV in Young Black MSM

Liz McConnell, M.A., is a graduate student in the Clinical-Community Psychology Ph.D. program at DePaul University in Chicago. She was recently awarded an F31 grant by NIH.
