Photo of Dr. Brian DodgeWe invite you to join us for the second lecture in the ISGMH Lecture Series “Current Issues in LGBTQ Health” as we welcome Dr. Brian Dodge to give a presentation entitled “Bisexual Health: Risk and Beyond.” Dr. Dodge’s presentation will provide an overview of empirical evidence on health concerns and disparities among bisexual individuals, relative to heterosexual and gay/lesbian individuals. He will also explore priority areas for future research and intervention efforts focused on improving health among diverse bisexual individuals and communities.

Brian Dodge, Ph.D., M.Sc., is an associate professor and associate director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington. His research focuses on sexual health risk and protective factors among bisexual individuals, including some of the first NIH-funded studies on HIV risk and prevention among bisexual men. He has also been a co-investigator on the ongoing nationally representative probability study of sexuality in the United States, the National Survey of Sexual Health & Behavior (NSSHB), since its inception in 2009.
