On April 11th, Dr. Kathryn Macapagal will be speaking at Virginia Tarlow, M.D. Grand Rounds in the Northwestern Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She will present “Ethical issues in research and healthcare for sexual and gender minority (SGM) youth” which will incorporate insights from several ISGMH studies related to ethics and SGM youth research. Attendees will learn about health disparities experienced by SGM youth, barriers to accessing health care and research for SGM youth, and adolescents’ rights to HIV/STI testing and care in Illinois.
The lecture will begin at 11:00 am and will take place in the 3rd floor Canning Auditorium at Prentice Women’s Hospital (250 E. Superior Street).
