CONNECT Publication Featured by the Society for Community Research and Action

A CONNECT publication was recently featured on the Society for Community Research and Action (SCRA) website. Written by Liz McConnell, an NRSA predoctoral fellow with ISGMH, and Ashley Simons-Rudolph, the post details findings from a CONNECT paper exploring multiple minority stress and community resilience in marginalized groups. Informed by minority stress and intersectionality theories, the paper found sexual minority men of color, especially Black men, experience racial stigma in LGBT spaces as well as LGBT stigma in their communities.
