Drs. Brian Mustanski and Brian Feinstein to Speak in Northwestern Social Psychology Brownbag Series

Drs. Brian Mustanski, ISGMH director, and Brian Feinstein, ISGMH postdoctoral research fellow, were recently invited to speak as part of the Northwestern Department of Psychology’s Social Brownbag series. Their talk is titled “Close relationships and the health of young gay and bisexual men.”

Dr. Mustanski will provide an overview of the epidemiology of HIV and risk factors among young gay and bisexual men. He will discuss evidence examining parental influences on HIV risk behavior and substance use in this population. Dr. Feinstein will then discuss the health of young gay and bisexual men in the context of romantic relationships, with a focus on the role stress plays in the context of same-sex relationships.

The lecture will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, January 19th in 414 Swift Hall (2029 Sheridan Road Evanston, IL 60208). This event is open to the public.
